This is THE BEST take-out experience. The family that runs this China Star is fantastic. They always have my order ready to hand off to me with a personal greeting and smile. I have never had any discrepancy with my order. My family has tried many dishes and they are all excellent. Family favs include egg foo young, bourbon chicken, General Tso chicken, pepper steak, every chef special. The shrimp are huge and perfectly cooked. The meat is tender (and denture approved 😉). Fast pickup, fast delivery. Great service, great menu, great food, great price!

Worst dumplings I’ve ever had. Way too thick and salty, the orange chicken had meat in it but it was such a thick dark burnt sauce and the pork fried rice was not edible, honey garlic wings were tiny and had no garlic and no flavor, and the soup smelled so bad I don’t even know how to describe it. I was a first time customer and I don’t think I’ll be ordering from here again.

The food wasn’t that bad. I just feel like they should add eggs in their fried rice and not make it an up charge, not only that they use a different type of Soy sauce so when you get the soy sauce, it’s not the common one that you always see at Chinese restaurants , the soy sauce they have is nasty. I hated it. The brand is Day Pal soy sauce. And it’s nasty. I think they should get the soy sauce at every other Chinese restaurant uses. Another thing that I did not like about this restaurant once you put in your order, they hang up on you. They don’t even say thank you or anything you put in your order they ask you if that’s all and once you say yes they hang up in your face.. that’s a really, really rude. I didn’t like that.

My wife ordered us a large meal here yesterday spending over $75. The General tao chicken and sweet and sour chicken was definitely not real chicken. It was mushy inside like it was old and previously frozen and maybe cook at a low heat. The sweet-and-sour sauce was amazing. However, all of our chicken was poured over rice so there was sauce all over And we asked for sauce on the side. My wife also called and made sure they understood that she wanted no fruits or vegetables with any of the entrées meaning no broccoli no pineapple in the gentleman who answered the phone was very rude and said we don’t put any of that in our food and hung up on her. Needless to say the food came with broccoli in it and I have a food allergy. The Styrofoam that they put the chicken in was just melting into our food. At that point, it wasn’t even consumable. The shrimp egg foo young was burnt with way too many onions. The only delicious part of the meal was the one egg roll…. We won’t be ordering from here again.

The running joke about moving from up north to Florida is never finding decent Chinese food. After a 5 year hunt, I'd say this spot is best, most consistent Chinese food place we've tried in South Florida. They have all the classic Chinese food staples as well as options catering to most dietary restrictions. I try to eat plant based- all veggie options (fried rice, lo mein) came FULL of vegetables. I can't speak on the service, cleanliness, or atmosphere as I used a third party delivery service, however it was super quick and they accommodated additional notes I added to the order. (I.e. "extra spicy" "extra sauce") This food cured my hangover without feeling lethargic or slipping into the post-Chinese food coma after eating. If you're having a craving for Chinese food, this will certainly satisfy.
